Julie Auch – What about the Second Amendment?
When our founding Fathers established the Constitution, and especially the
Second Amendment, they were well aware that we, as Americans, were going to
use our guns to hunt and we were going to use our guns to protect ourselves.
But they purposely included the right to form a militia against a tyrannical
government because they understand that the government uses soldiers to oppress
people. That is why they establish the right for private citizens to keep and
bear arms.
Today’s government has proven to use military forces to oppress nations.
Law abiding citizens need the right to possess and use firearms to defend themselves
against a tyrannical government and to protect themselves of course against tyranny.
I will staunchly defend that, our nation’s second amendment rights.
